Windows Server 2008 R2 error in server manager.

I have a server that I'm trying to setup Windows Backup. I need to install the feature. When I try to open server manager I get an error in the server manager screen. Unexpected error refreshing server manager. I ran the Windows Update Finder program. Under Error Logs I get a "Could not discover the state of the system error: 1601. Any ideas"?

This problem happens because of corruption within the Component Based Servicing subsystem. Its related to incorrect permissions that are set by users or by the administrator.

Running "ServerManagerCmd -query" should give a "Error: Failed to initialize in the same situation" message.

You will need to fix it manually, unfortuneatly.

Dare I ask how much work is it to fix manually? Would I be better off reloading the OS?

Yeah I think I'll just wipe it clean. It won't be a big deal because nothing is really on it at this point. Thanks for your help.
