How to find all SITE ACCESS admins in SharePoint Farm

I am currently administering a SharePoint 2007 environment. We have a site collection with over 500 sites which i need to get greater transparency on. One of the biggest issues i have is that a number of users have left the company in the past 2 years and as such "access requests" are sometimes getting nowhere and no-one is getting notifications.

Is there anyway i can find out the list of sites and who the access request admins are for theses sites ?  I am using Quest Site Admin but it cannot perform this.

I also would like the ability to change how the "access denied" screen appears (essentially have more information listed that what is currently there.)

Thanks for your reply (great script.....)

The script does not help me find out who the Site Admins / People who grant Site Access are.I work on the SharePoint Support desk and we do not grant access to these sites. They are maintained by site owners and whoever they delegate to admin. Therefore i require a list of all sites and who the Site Admins / People who grant Site Access are so i can ensute all users that send site requests are at least getting to someone who is in a position to reject or approve.

Thanks for link to changing access denied page..will use that !!!
Not specifically what i wanted.
