Removing old exchange 2003 server

I'm attempting to uninstall exchange 2003 to complete a migration project and have run into a problem.  When I run the installer it claims that one or more users still have a mailbox on the server which is not the case (they have all been migrated).  According to this article it can be a result of incorrect AD data on an account:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/924170?wa=wsignin1.0

I followed the directions but found no accounts pointing to the old server so there is nothing to use ADSI edit on.  I'm kind of stuck at this point and would appreciate any help.

So do you have any Exchange 2007 or 2010 in the environment as well ? If so try the below command

Get-Mailbox | Where {$_. msExchHomeServerName -Like "*Old serverName*"}

- Rancy
