Exchange 2010 w/SP1 Transaction Logs Rapidly Filling Disk Space

Our Exchange server is creating logs at a rapid pace. We have a lot of Iphone, droid and blackberry users. We also have been importing mail from an old archive system back into exchange, to use the archive system built into exchange but this is done on a per user mailbox.
Doing some research we found that active sync or a pst import that could be stuck importing could be the problem. We used exmon to monitor.  The question(s)
1. How do we tell or isolate the user or users that have and active sync issue or a bad pst import?
2. And when we isolate the user, is it simply recreating their outlook profile that corrects the issue?
3. Are there any Active sync settings that need to set on exchange that will affect logs?

Ended up taking both suggestions. We purchased external storage unit and moved the logs to to a separate location so it has enough space to grow.
