Windows Live Mail will not print messages

I have a Windows 7 Laptop, it is installed with Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and service pack 1, I use Windows Live mail as my email software and have just noticed that I cannot print any messages. I don't know exactly when the fault occurred so can't put it right with system restore. I can print other documents, pictures etc just not my messages unless I log into Live Mail using a browser page then I can print them. I have tried re installing Live Mail already. Please can someone explain how to fix this problem so I can print directly from the Live Mail software.

Please check if below can help

- Click "Start" then "Run" and type "regsvr32 ole32.dll".
- Click "OK"
- And now you can print your emails.

Hi Rancy, thanks for your suggestion I have tried this already but got the following message, "The module ole32.dll was loaded but the call to DLLRegisterServer failed with code 0x80070005"

jcimarron Thanks there's quite a bit to go at there so I will have a go at each part individually, some suggestions seem to be specifically for IE8 so I don't know if they will work in this case and another one addresses a problem relating to an error message but I don't get an error message, nothing at all happens when I click Print. I have tried the Microsoft Fix it that you suggested but it didn't make any difference. I can log into Live mail's webpage and print from any browser apart from IE9. When I try to go via IE9 I just get a blank page so this might throw some light on the problem. Also I cannot log into Experts Exchange from IE any more, when i click "log in" absolutely nothing happens so this is probably related.
SO with the error what i understand is for some reason its not fully loaded

Hi Rancy, I've just followed a link supplied by jcimarron regarding the command you suggested and found that it has to be run through command prompt as an administrator rather than just from the run command, this way it worked ok but unfortunately it didn't ultimately repair the fault. Just thought I'd let you know. Here's the paragraph from the link

"go to Start, All Programs, Accessories, right click Command Prompt and choose Run as Administrator. In the Command Prompt that comes up, type the following command and press enter: regsvr32 ole32.dll "

Hi jcimarron, I think I might have to do a repair install although it seems a bit drastic for something that is more of an annoyance than a real problem, might do it at the weekend when I have some time. I did notice though that your suggestion included downloading the iso image of Windows 7 from Digital River, I have suggested something similar in a previous post here in Experts Exchange and was warned off it because Digital River isn't a genuine Microsoft website, do you think it is a safe place to download from?
it4--I have not heard or seen any information that Digital River is a dangerous or untrustworthy website.  It is recommended as a place to get Windows OS downloads by many reliable sources.  You can then make an .iso DVD.
See
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Digital_River

Of course you do not get product keys and must use your own, but the DVD will allow you to perform Clean and Repair Installs if you do not have a Windows CD.
Do you remember who warned you off?

P.S.  A Repair Install is really not so drastic since it should have little effect on your personal data and installed programs.  Of course a backup is always a good idea.

Yes that's what I thought as I've been redirected to Digital River from Microsoft links so there has to be a genuine connection between them. I will try the repair over the weekend and give you the points if it fixes it. By the way, seeing as you mentioned product keys you might know the answer to this, my own key is still quite legible but I often see laptops where the product key and Windows version have completely rubbed off the licence sticker, this never used to happen before Microsoft decided to stop laminating the stickers but has become a real problem and from my own experience I have found the manufacturers and Microsoft quite unhelpful because they just tell you to buy a new licence for about £90 which is a bit unreasonable. Do you know if there is a way to get a replacement licence for less?
it4--You could use one or both of the following product key finders

Yes they're good I've used those before but the problem really starts when the hard drive has failed and you have to start from scratch. Anyway I've gone off topic now so I will try what you said and let you know what happens

jcimarron  I did the repair install and it did fix the problem, it also fixed several other issues too and I have since upgraded to Windows 8 which I couldn't do before. Many Thanks
it4--That is really good news.  You are welcome.
