Cixtrix Xendesktop using Vsphere 5.1 hypervisor Desktops reboot unable to log in

Setting up a new Xendesktop infrastructure which uses Vsphere 5.1.

I have created a small test pool of desktops (windows7), each desktop shows as Registered in Desktop studio.
When I log in to the web interface and select the virtual desktop nothing happens.
When I return to Citrix Desktop studio the machine that's on becomes unregistered. When I look at vecenter I can see that the vm has been shutdown.

Has anyone else had this issue an found a resolution?
What steps would be good to take to troubleshoot this further.

Check your idle pool settings in Desktop Studio.

at that shut down, did you get chance to see the vc center alert  ?
is any other storage changed from previous and current ?
I think the issue is related to the Citrix Display Driver. I created a new windows 7 image installed vmware tools without the video driver. I then install the citrix VDA. When I look in device manager the citrix display driver is shown the following error:

Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43)

I have been unable to get the Citrix Display Driver WDDM to work. Any ideas?
The issue was being caused by the Citrix Display driver WDDM not working.

While I did install Vmware tools and then Citrix XDA in the correct order in my test environment. I didn't install the Xendesktop Agent on a fully patched version on Windows 7 as I was just a test environment. This proved to be a mistake, once windows 7 was fully patched the Citrix Display driver worked correctly.
