So far I have never owned more than one Apple product, a Iphone, and I am about to get a Ipad.
I don't use iCloud but I wanted to see if there is a good way to sync them both up wireless using ITunes or am I going to have to plug them in and sync. Itunes lets you sync over your wireless network if I remember correctly although I haven't set it up.
I'm assuming Itunes sets up different profiles for each device so do I need to do anything to sync up the Ipad with the same apps and notes and can I mark certain apps that I do not want to carry over to the Ipad and vise versa?

Yes you can mark the apps you want for your iphone only and for the ipad only.
I have Ipad and iphone and I sync both at the same time wirelessly and using the usb have had no issues doing that.

When you sync the two does data like saved games carry over also?
