I have a GT-I9300 Android version 4.1.1 and cannot see USB Utilities under Settings > More Settings. It was definitely here before and I used to get the Droid icon and could switch on and off.

I've cold booted device and upgraded to 4.1.1 but no joy. If I plug into a PC I can see phone storage plus the 32GB card.

Where’s it gone and how do I get back!

Thanks

When you plug it into a pc, you should have a menu that you pull down from the top that gives you the usb options.

Looks like the option was removed in the update, see here: USB Utilities

If i go to there i just get the option to set MTP or PTP. There was an option where an orange droid came up and by doing something and clicking on the droid it would turn green and i could play my music through DoubleTwist.  Cheers for reply.

The USB utilities option was removed. Your only option is MTP or PTP
