Can screen protector & privacy guard reduce glare on a Macbook pro screen

Read that Retina Macbook Pro screen is the glossy type & there's some
glare / reflection.  Is there any screen protector esp those privacy guard
that could help cut down the glare considerably?

Pls suggest a few brands / urls for the suggested screen protector/guards
(the 13" ones)

Would pasting the screen protector result in loss of sharpness / clarity
of the images on the screen?

It will reduce the glare but if the sun is shining on any screen it's harder to see. The clarity if is great. Slightly darker screen but no reduction of pixels.

To the best of my knowledge you can still purchase these at an Apple store.
