Hi,

I have been studyng how Vmware treat the storage and its adapters but I have some questions regarding what I have in the Storage adapters part:

Going to Configuration - Storage adapters in a Host I can see the - ps_1.jpg.

In it I can see that the second one has LUN = 0, what does it means? I could see it in the Path part as well... is it ony an identifier?

I asked this because in the Storage part I have three Devices... what is the relation between them?

In the ps_2.jpg  - the storage screen - I could relate the name of the storage adapter and the device column of the storage screen...

Tks,
Joao

you have a SAS controller with three SAS disks connected to the controller.

each array has a logical unit number (LUN) defined.

the relationship, you have a bunch of disks in an array, divided into three logical disks (luns), virtual disks.
