Does this function setZOptions() work yet?

or there is a new one in jquery?

If so, give me an example how to work with it.

Those function was working only for very old browser 'Netscape'. Rest browsers not support those function at all.

If you need to set the popup window active, use the "window.focus()".

Here is an example at W3C Schools:
