Hi,

I am working on a task to make pxe booting for Lenovo laptop.
Here is what I have :
WDS in Server 2012 in server subnet
Infoblox serves as DNS and DHCP in another subnet.

I have a E32 time out problem when a laptop is not in a server subnet.
For example, if I put a laptop to the server subnet, same subnet with WDS, pxe booting works.
If I put a laptop to other subnet, it gets the IP address for Infoblox but it stays at
TFTP..... for a few minutes and then gives out
PXE-E32 : TFTP timed out.

I have network group to put option 66 and 67 to Infoblox as

option 66 : 10.32.133.21 ( IP address of the WDS server )
opton 67 : boot\x64\pxeboot.n12 ( this is the same path and file name that works when a laptop is in the same subnet wirh WDS server )

Our network is using HP Extreme router and it does not have ip helper address command

Can you experts suggest any way that I can make pxe booting works ?

Thank you

without a helper on the L3 switch it will not work with your current configuration

you could add another NIC to your WDS server and put it on the other subnet...

Do you mean adding another IP helper command for the pxe boot server in addtion to a IP helper command for DHCP server ?

Thanks

Lync meeting or Lync conferencing is what many organizations would like to deploy to allow them save money. But companies are now giving up for various reasons, one of which is that they cannot join external meetings (non-federated company meetings)…
User Beware!  This is a rather permanent solution to removing your email from an exchange server.  The only way to truly go back is to have your exchange administrator restore your mailbox from backups.  This is usually the option of last resort.  A…
