I have been downloading files from ftp site using internet explorer 8.0 on a win xp machine without a problem. Then I installed Free Download Manager. Now, when I exit the ftp site the mouse buttons no longer work. I have to reboot my computer.

It should be obvious that the free download manager is worth what you paid for it.  Uninstall and look for something to replace it.

This product has been better than ones I have purchased. I spoke with FDM tech support. They are to be releasing a version soon which should address this issue.
