Merry Christmas / Happy Holidays,
This is the story: 4,461 contacts have been around from one Exchange Account from Company A to the Exchange Account of Company B, then to Gmail.
The actual profile the user uses is the Gmail via MAPI and even though the contacts are in Gmail and can be used, the user uses Outlook 2010 to manage all mail profiles ad have those contacts stored in a separated PST file.
Wherever the contacts are, they can be used; no errors, no problems.
Now, the user wants to migrate everything to Outlook.com and here is where the problems start: While importing them via Outlook 2010 we get all kind of problems: Company Name > 40 chars, Business City > XX chars, Text bigger than 1000 chars.
Of course, no clue which contacts are the one with the problems and looking at them via CSV is a daunting task.
The funny part is that we can import those same allegedly problematic contacts to any Contact folder in any PST with no problem, but no to the Outlook MAPI (or better said Outlook Connector-based) account.
Any clues?
What is the number of words used in those fields ?
