Hi,

I'm trying to get Oracle Solaris on a bootable USB.
Tried a tool "iso to usb" but usb isn't bootable. Oracle has a tool theirselves, but they mention
on their site:

Note: The version of usbcopy in Oracle Solaris 11 11/11 will fail since it is not aware of the new GRUB2 boot loader.
http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/server-storage/solaris11/downloads/index.html

Please advise which tool will do this correctly.

J.

use this for Windows

This utility helps you to create OpenSolaris LiveUSB memory stick.

Offically, when you want to create OpenSolaris LiveUSB memory stick, you must run usbcopy script on Solaris/OpenSolaris box.

Using this utility, you can create LiveUSB stick from ".usb" images on  your Windows box.
