Outlook 2007, Winmail.dat is there but I cannot see it.
Hello,
Some emails contain winmail.dat (I can see it from Thunderbird) but my outlook just IGNORES them. Latest patches are install, Outlook is 2007 SP3 of course.
Other users here are getting these mails just fine - I tried to disable my antivirus - also didn't help. I compared everything with other users and again, I cannot understand what is the issue. I even see something "attached" (staple icon) but nothing inside (expect pure TEXT message). All pictures/logos are not here.
Some messages are okay, most are not. Again, it's reader issue (my side) - as outlook has only RTF/HTML options as a sender.
Any help will be appreciated.

Hi,
There are several senders which I cannot read their emails and my other colleagues do with same Outlook 2007. It's on my reader side.

Thanks, but again, the issue is in my side. Others with same Outlook 2007 do read the email as it should. Antivirus is disabled. What else can it be ?
Others with same Outlook 2007 do read the email as it should -> Try add your email account in Others' computer to see whether you can read the email.

The author said "the sender had to remove my contact, insert it again and mark it as "sent best internet format" in his outlook." in the accepted answer and it is already stated comment (ID: 38722837).

Half of the author's own answer is related to my comments on the Internet format of the contacts in outlook from the sender and it is unfair to say that only antivirus software is the clause of the problem. The problem is not just only from the receiver side of the author.

The problem is usually caused at the sender's end.
