windows8 dual boot imac - sound does not work on window side

I have a dual boot imace - installed base windows7 the upgraded to windows 8
Have no sound on the windows side - have searched every where for a solution - no joy so far.
Not to mention the BSOD that keeps occuring

help with the sound issue would be appreciated

What version of Bootcamp are you running? Have you considered updating it to the latest version?

everything looks to be working on the windows side - have checked sound services volume level no problems found - sound works fine on the apple sid

was looking for a way to check the drivers on the windows side

the sound drive is datated 7-25-2012
will have to boot to windows to find out about boot camp - may take a bit of time

Also check and see if you have the latest Windows Service Packs / Updates.
