Hi, here is a strange one. Today I noticed the X key does not work on my laptop. All the other keys are fine. The laptop is pretty old, (dv9000 series laptop) so I figured maybe the contact pad wore out under the key, allthough it would be odd that the X key would go since it is a very uncommon letter. But I know the pad did not wear out because if I hit the shift key and then the letter X, it works!

If I hit the caps lock key then hit X it does not work however.

has anyone ever heard of that before? if I purchase a new keyboard is it likley to fiX it?
