I'm copying my website files with WEb Copy using Visual Studio 2010.

Wasn't there a way to copy files and retain the local file's date/time stamp? Didn't that used to be a checkbox on the Copy Web panel? Maybe in another version of VS.

Is there a way to do that?

thanks.

If your talking about the built in copy/sync publishing tool inside of Visual Studio 2010. It is suppose to always preserve. That's how it know what to push when you tell it "new files only".

Where are you seeing the time dif?

It shows the date it was published, not the original date of the file on the left side.
