Good evening, my son is 14 and spends a lot of time drawing and designing cars by hand, I would like to get him a program help him explore his passion, but don't need a huge, complex program.  Is there a good "starter" option for design or illustrator software?

Your help is appreciated.

Google has a free option which is similar to Auto CAD

Seems to be owned by Trimble now. Though there is still a free version.

Perfect, I think that will be a great starting point before we shell out the big dollars.  Thanks for the help and prompt response.
