SBS 2008 Internet Connection

My SBS 2008 ran for over three years without any major problems until I replaced my router.  Since doing so, if I re-start the server, I cannot re-connect to the Internet without running the "Connect to the Internet" wizard.  After running the wizard, the connection is re-established.  I tried changing back to my old router but the same problem occurred.

Do I need to change my Internet connection settings?

Are there any protocol restrictions for outbound flow on the new edge device?

What inbound rules are in place? Preference is for uPnP to be disabled so SBS may complain about that.

Many thanks Philip.

Removing the blank line in the default gateway registry entry, as per the blog, solved the problem.
