Remote Apps Quickbooks needs to use outlook to send mail
We are using RDS on server 2008 r2 to remotely run quickbooks 2012 as a remote app.
The users need to be able to send mail from the application using outlook.
I have found a solution but it is not quite optimal. I have outlook 2007 installed on the terminal server and have each quickbooks user logged in with outlook open. This works when they need to send mail from quickbooks.
Is there a better way to set this up? I dont want to have to make sure these accounts are always logged in and outlook running. Is there any way for remote apps to see the local installation of outlook?
