I want to give my iphone user the opportunity to choose from a number of different songs and compile their own playlist. That playlist will automatically play the songs and segue from one to the other.

I can do it by creating several static links that they can click on and have the iphone open up a quicktime player and that's fine, but is there a more elegant solution that allows for the kind of thing that I describe above?

Hi,

I assume that this will be a web based player? Right? So, for the player you can use a jquery/html 5 mp3 player. There are several libraries that you can use, like:

http://jplayer.org/
http://www.jquery4u.com/media/10-jquery-audio/
http://iapdesign.com/webdev/25-awesome-html5-and-jquery-plugin-music-player/#

To let one make his own playlist you need php for the backend (storing the playlist)

Hope you can use this.
