ECHO-REPORTING.doc I am using cr for vs2010. I am getting rtf data from db using dataset and populating the report.

The text portion is coming jumbled up . but importantly the formatting (table) is not getting displayed in the report.  I have changed the memo field text interpretation to rtf in cr. still the same problem. sample text is as shown below

I don't know if I'll be able to help, since I don't use that version of CR, or RTF text, but I wanted to let you know that I don't see any attachment.  I see a place where something should be and there's even a size (44 KB), but there's no actual link to d/l anything.  This happens sometimes.  I don't know why.  So, you might want to try posting your file again.

I just googled a bit and i found in some of sap forums that cr has limitation in displaying some of the rtf tags , table being one.  I am working on a work around solution. I am using txtextcontrol free edition which has option to export the o/p to rtf format but does not have the option to export to pdf. if you can let me know how to programtically convert rtf file to to pdf in vb.net , it would go long way in solving the problem.

Thanks for giving a link which confirms my findings.  To work around this problem,  i am converting the table rtf data to rtf file at runtime. Just to prevent editing by users after the rtf file is generated, i want to convert this rtf file to pdf before displaying the content to user.
can you pls provide some information on how to convert a rtf file to pdf file during run time.

Other than using Acrobat I don't know how to do it.

There are tool sets that claim to allow you to write a program to create pdf files
