VBScript to know the status of the windows service
Hello Team,
I need a VBscript which can monitor the status of the specific windows service, like IISADMIN & only when service is get in stopped state send out a notification email to speicific DL.

Yes, you can definatley check the service status with vbscript. Here's a tutorial on how to do it:

To send email, I frequently use blat.exe invoked from the script:
