Activate a new Call Handler

I have made a new call handler for an existing line that currently has just a voice mail. Do i need to make a new cti route point for this or how do i activate and connect it to the extension. When i add a new DN to the route point it wont let me cause shared is not allowed.

What do you mean connect to the extension? yes you need to create a CTI RP and on the extension check forward all to voicemail. if your extension is the last 4 of the DID then you dont need to do anything else.  If you Call Handler is different then your DID then you need to create a translation pattern and translate it to the extension you created.
