SEO Urls with SES Converter or other options

I've currently set up the SESConverter tool for generating SEO urls on my ColdFusion application. It works a chram and was extremely simple to set up - in fact it took less than 5 minutes - a big well done to the developers of this custom tag.

However, i'm wondering if there is a fix or a modification i can make to alter the URL it uses.

So currently it uses the following format:
http://www.domain.com/index.cfm/pages/my-page

What i would like to do is have the index.cfm removed so all i have is:
http://www.domain.com/pages/my-page

Is this possible?

No, I do not have access to the server - I need a ColdFusion solution like SESConverter.

I would be happy to hear about some other simple solutions if there are any. Currently i'm using a custom 404 error doc to do my seo urls, but i'm running into some weird problems with it when trying to track advertisment views etc - it duplicates the results for some strange reason - it's a long story, so i've been looking for a different/better solution. SESConverter seems to be a good one - would just love to remove the index.cfm from the url.

Really appreciate your help on this one!

to my knowledge (and I've used sesconverter for years), this is not possible with sesconverter.

Sesconverter is basically written to "sort of" simulate what you can do with urlrewrite, but does not really offer the flexibility.

I think without access to the server you are pretty much stuck with what you have.

I should mention that I'm using sesconvertor with FB 3 so newer versions of FB may have functionality that I don't know about.

I do know removing index.cfm is possible using the  fw/1 framework https://github.com/seancorfield/fw1/wiki/Reference-Manual but I don't suppose you want to rewrite your FB apps in fw/1
