Restore windows 2003 system from backup tape used with HP Dataprotector Express<br />
I had to reinstall windows 2003 server and tries to do a restore from HP Dataprotector Express wich have been used on the server earlier. &nbsp;When I open the restore window in the program I can not seem to get an option to restore. &nbsp;I have first tried to cataloge the tape and the correct TapeName is shown on the list. &nbsp;It was a succesfull backup of the whole system some days ago but I can not get it to start restore prosess. &nbsp;I tried to run OBDR but it did not start the recovery prosess at boot.<br />
I have an old boot cd that was created 2 years ago with recovery program and is wondering if I could use this to get access to the tape and run a complete restore from this ? &nbsp;I was confused since the program on the cd says that the system will be restored at the date of creation of the cd. &nbsp;Any help here would be most thankful.<br />
