Hi Guys,

I am trying to learn the basics of return data using a webservice in JSON format.

using this link

http://www.codeproject.com/Articles/105273/Create-RESTful-WCF-Service-API-Step-By-Step-Guide

Everytime I launch in my IE browser, IE tries to download it instead of open it in the browser.

I think I found a solution but I dont know how or where to actually set the reponse type to text.  Can someone please help out?

here is the link with my hopeful answer

thanks

What version of IE are you using? IE 8 or IE 9 and what mode? (Press F12 and check browser and document mode)
What version of VS2010 and .NET are you using?
