Win XP - what IE to use?

My OS is win 7 prof 64 bit and I also have XP mode on the pc.  i need to switch to the xp mode to install IE,  Could the experts please  advise what version of IE I should download and also give me the links.  Thank u.

As above, IE8 as Shahzoor.
