install before place in colocation center?

i got my new server, i don't have static ip now, better i install the xen server with private ip before move the server to colocation? onve place in colocation, how would i able to reconfig it. need using ipmi? or how?

At some point before you have to ship to the colo, they will presumably give you info on the IPs.
Is the colo allocates you a public IP or do they NAT a public IP to your system?
