SQL 2005 database attach error

An error occurred while processing the log for database "Team". If possible, restore from backup. If a backup is not available, it may be necessary to rebuild the log. Could not open the new database "Team". CREATE DATABASE aborted.

Unfortunately I do not have a database backup.  What are my options?

And don't forget to take on your 'Unfortunately I do not have a database backup'. And not the copy-the-files kind off that probably is the source off your error.

What do you mean by attach, did you move the MDB and LDF files from a different system after it crashed?

Only work on copies to make sure if ne thing does not work you have the original with which to try another approach.

When I run the following commands as instructed in the above link I get these errors.

Where am I using the wrong syntax?

DBCC CHECKDB 'team' REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS
Msg 102, Level 15, State 1, Line 1
Incorrect syntax near 'teamview'.

DBCC CHECKDB REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS
Msg 102, Level 15, State 1, Line 1
Incorrect syntax near 'REPAIR_ALLOW_DATA_LOSS'.

What is the status of the database, does it attach and comes in as read-only?
