SQL server 2008 was installed.
The sql client was installed and then the application.

After that ,while trying to  configure the Sysem DSN, an error occurs.

The setup routines for the SQL native client ODBC driver could not be found. Please reinstall the driver.
On checking the drivers, the sql native client 10.0 driver seems to be present.

Can anyone tell what to do . How to solve this.

please clarify what OS (version- edition sp- probably you have /64bit(in this case use 32-bit odbc admin -see above post))

is this pack with the client installed on  box or some another pc\server?

if some another server -- you may need to include in your distr pack MDAC (all or just part)
or sql connectivity dlls

MDAC

The application and sql client are installed on the same box.
database server is another box.
 MDAC is already there,

nt sure what could be the problem.
