ACL issue on IIS7

Hi,
the only operation that I performed were share c:\inetpub\wwwroot folder with the user administrator without removing existing ACLS.
After this, web site show me this error:

Errore HTTP 401.3 - Unauthorized: Access is denied due to an ACL set on the requested resource

If I create a new simple html page, I obtain the same error.
If I give "everyone" rights to this html page, it works.

How can I properly restore acls on that c:\inetpub\wwwroot?

Thankyou

It sounds like you may have removed the inherited permissions that are present on \wwwroot.

The default permissions on inetpub/wwwroot are as follows:

USER                                       Permissions                                  Comments:
CREATOR OWNER                      Special permissions       Equivalent to Full control.
Applies to subfolders and files only.
                                                                                 Inherited from \inetpub.

SYSTEM                                      Full control               Inherited from \inetpub.
