I set up a distribution group so when email comes in for user "A" it forwards to the distribution group, there are 2 users in the distribution group both local addresses. but when I try to send email to user "A" I get an error:

Groups in Exchange 2007 and higher require authentication. You need to untick that option from the group to allow the email to be sent.
