Please tell us if this could have to do with liberately messing the the termsrv.dll in order to make win8 accessible by more than one.<br />
If not: no idea, please give more details: did it work at first, did you change anything, do you run any software that should allow multiple persons to login concurrently?

Hi, I have not changed anything. &nbsp;It worked the first time I connected over RDP and after about 10 mins the session closed unexpectedly, ever since I have been unable to log back into the machine either over RDP or locally

did u try to use safe mode ?<br />
while booting &nbsp;keep pressing F8 then choose &nbsp;safe mode , or last known configuration
