Not exactly sure how to answer, but here is an example MMS Taxonomy:

Corporate (Group)
  -Departments (Term Set)
    -HR (Term)
    -IT
    -Sales
  -Building (Term Set)
    -003 West (Term)
    -215 East
  -Campus (Term Set)
    -New York (Term)
    -Indianapolis
    -Tallahassee
  -Document Status (term Set)
    -New (Term)
    -Approved
    -Archive
