Can I forward every email to another email with Gmail
Maybe I am getting old but I could swear I was able to add multiple people to forward email to in gmail.
My work around was to create a group .
This is for a board at my school . They want to have one email address and have mmultile people receive the email at once. I konw I can tell them to add this gmail account to their private gmail. Something I am trying not to do .
Other option was to create a group with all of their email address and then add those addresses to it.
Yes, it be doable with the "Filters" feature. The first thing you need to do is go to Settings > Forwarding and POP/IMAP. Add and confirm all the email addresses you need to forward to. Once that's done, go back to your Forwarding settings and add a forward to the first email address.
To add the rest, you need to use Filters. Go to Settings > Filters > Create a new filter. Create the filter using the To: field, and put in your email address that everyone will be sending to (eg: schoolboard@school.com). Click on the "create filter with this search" link below. Check the box beside "Forward it to": and select a second address. Then click on the "add a forwarding address" and add another address. Keep doing this until you have all your forwarding addresses entered, and then click the "Create filter" button. That should do the trick.
