toshiba notepad beeps once every 15 seconds or so

my toshiba notepad is beeping every few seconds. why is this so. I was in the middle of installing win7 overtop windows xp when it stopped installing and winxp is still running. Now the computer is beeping continously every 15 seconds.

Might be dust on the cpu fan or the cpu fan is not connected proplery ...clean the dust and make sure the cpu fan is seated properly by coating fresh white compound on the heatsink.
