AS 3 - Movie editor
Hi Experts,
Here is my project i need help. I Have a short movie in FLV format. I need to add some frames at the beginning and at the end, eventually i will add small movies in the same format. I am using Alligator software which has limited options and is not full compatible with AS3. My question is what AS3 code i shall use to load a movie.
What other software you recommend for this job?

Thank you for your answer.
Iorgsoft does not have any feature (apart from the player) in the free version and im not gonna buy it as long as i can not test it.
Movica does not support FLV
FLV cutter, just cut! nothing else.
Emicsoft is doing what i need but free version doesnt save the result.

oh, yes that one works in free version, but only for 5 minutes long movies and the result is not flash (.flv) movie.
Any other suggestion?

Thank you for answer. That is what i look for.
I do use Alligator 8 (not hacked) since 2 years. As for Adobe Products they are still expensive for a hobby-er.
Anyway, I found the links useful, hence the reward.

Thank you Raul, I feel guilty just offering sourced guides,
I do agree about the expenses and as if that's not enough I think it's by design when you buy it thinking you have all you need only to find you need something else at least 300 bucks,
I appreciate that I found a solution for you and your happy with it.
There is alternatives available if you know what to look for
take Inkscape for example what a brilliant tool and alternative to Illustrator, CorelDraw, or Xara X, using the W3C standard Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) file format.
Adobe alternatives most of these I have and use daily basis
