you cannot setup an ip address on a &nbsp;template I remember doing a project for server 2012 vmware template and I tried to do the same by p2v a server and then v2p back set the static ip address and I got errors tring to revert to the template

What I want to do is, need to bootup with a IP address which I specify, and then need to pull up receipie from master and do the necessary stuffs

well I think you will need to do pxe / linux boot as thats how I have always done it as you can set the ip in pxe
