ZFS: change OS mirrored disks (ssd) by laptop disks + cache & log disks
Hi,
I have my zfs for esxi running (Nexenta) on 2 ssd's. Now I would like to replace them with two (different) laptop disks.
I could reinstall but I wonder if the following would/could work (would save me some time):
1.remove 1 of 2 os disks (mirrored ssd)
2.add laptop disk
3.resync? not sure what nexenta will say/do
4.remove the other ssd and sync again
Would/could it work? Other drives in my server (ssd's 120GB): I just remove the cache/logdrives from my satazraid (ssd's 120GB), remove them from server and add the 60GB drives as cache/log.
Please advise.

Update: I replaced 1 ssd by a laptop disk. Didn't recognize it, so rebooted.
Now after reboot, it added it into the syspool. However, led on sharkoon (laptop disk- doesn't light up, how do I know that it works/how do I know when I can remove the other SSD (mirror OS) in order to add the second laptop disk
Note: didn't see any alert or received any mail when removed 1 of the OS SSD-drives
