Hi guys,

Could you please tell me how can I block a sender from MS outlook 2010? The sender is using a gmail account and I use MS outlook 2010. I want to block the sender permanently. I dont want emails from that person to go into junk or delete folder. Please advice me how to do this.

Thanks,

If you do not want the email anywhere in Outlook, then Outlook cannot do what you want. It is not an Outlook problem.

There are two ways. I use both.

1. Have an exterior spam control filter and blacklist the sender. I get mail at mail.com forwarded to my real email that uses Spamassissin. I can blacklist in either (and both). This solves my problem neatly.

Presumably your mail supplier has a spam filter (almost all do) and use that filter to blacklist whatever addresses you want.

2. My own email is POP and I use PopTray or PopPeeper to check my email first and delete anything I don't want before it reaches Outlook. This is very effective for E-E email. I can read it with either email daemon above, action it, and then delete it without using Outlook.
