transfering .jpg file from Windows 7 to XP

i cannot open the file??? we need to use it in an old database that is XP.

How did you transfer to the XP box?

What are you trying to use to open it?

Using USB
Trying to open it in mspaint
and error is file is not valid

i thought it may have something to do with windows 7 vs. xp?

What happens if you use the XP box to access experts-exchange and download the file from your post?

not sure, we do not have network access on the XP computer

i will try another USB device
