" page not found" connection to nw excellent
With a Kindle fire and connected to wireless network with excellent connection, cannot see any web pages or cloud services. "Web page not found" for everything.

You need DHCP on this network or you should set IP settings manualy:

The wireless connection to a working connection says excellent. The android phone I am on and the homeowners apple desktop are connecting fine. I will do that DHCP process. Thanks.

I am not sure what led to the success, but we are finally connected. Although signal strength was excellent, I disconnected and tried to connect to another non encrypted network, which did not connect. I then tried our network again, got excellent ss again, and although there was one tab with web page not found, somehow I was able to connect to amazon successfully.
Open a command prompt and type without the quotes
"ping 8.8.8.8"
