HP Proliant system DOD Disk Wipe DL380

Im trying to find a good solution to do a DOD Wipe on HP DL380 systems - all systems contain smart array controllers.
looking to wipe:
380g3
380g4
380g5

i would like to use a bootable CD because i want to wipe all data on the drives in the system.
Any suggestions?

maybe even a script to run on a live disk that will see the drives? hopefully some one can point me in the direction i need. Thanks in advance!

The old version of DBAN works fine,
http://sourceforge.net/projects/dban/files/dban/dban-1.0.7/dban-1.0.7_i386.iso/download

You should disable write cache and delete any arrays, then create individual single disk arrays with one logical disk on each first.

N.B. There is no such thing as a DOD wipe really since it doesn't cover sectors that have been spared out as flakey, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Industrial_Security_Program

will it also work with the G5 system? as it has a p400 raid controller.

I think it'll work with a P400 since the driver is the same but I don't have one of them to try it out on. If not you could install Linux on one disk and use nwipe from that ISO on the others to rase all but one drive.

New dban can be made to work too, see post 7 at http://sourceforge.net/projects/dban/forums/forum/208932/topic/3950219 (note though that it'll have to be a USB version since you can't edit the file on a DVD.
