MasterPageMaster errors in web application.

Hi Everybody,

I am new to web application development and trying to learn.  I am getting some errors in my VB Coding on the MasterPageMaster.  I have attached the coding I am reviewing to find whats wrong.

I am getting blue squiggly lines on TopNavigation1.  The computer does not know what this name means.  It is showing TopNavigation1 not declared when I hover my mouse over it.  Where does the declaration go in the coding to corrrect this issue?  I also show an error on the TopNavigation1 control.

TopNavigation1 is causing a ton of errors to occur in my application.  When I debug the application, build is succeeding but the home page does not have all of the content it should have.

Any help is appreciated.

guru_samiCommented:
1: For TopNavigation, make sure your TopNavigation UserControl doesn't have any errors.
2: Also make sure you are adding right namespace import for your Util class.

Important one:
3: You have your VB code inside .aspx page but you still have ClassName and Inherits attribute included.

a) Either remove those attributes i.e. just have this <%@ Master Language="VB" %>
or
b) move your VB code from your .aspx page to the appropriate .aspx.vb page.
