boot manager Start PXE over vIP4

We have a PXE server we attach to and after pressing F 12 to get to the PXE sever I see a Boot manager at the top of the list  and this was never there before. I would then scroll down to select lan to grab the image to re-image the drive. Now the image that came with this is windows 8. Our image is windows 7. I changed the boot order and still get the error. No other laptop does this. I am concerened it is hardware? Does windows 7 need the boot manager at the top of the boot order? This is a brand new laptop from Lenovo? T 530.

Ok, I found the answer myself. If you are using an image to load on the new Lenovo laptop and I am not sure of what other brand this will work on, but Lenovo is what we use. You will need to go into the bios and under the security tab, secure boot set this to disabled and on the startup tab, UEFI\legacy boot, set to legacy only. Then reboot and try to connect to the PXE server again and you should be fine.

This worked for me right off. Not sure hopw the admins here wish to give out points, but I do not care. My concern is to help other users like those on this site that help me.
