I don't know if this is an issue beyond being annoying.  I implemented a login system on a website.  I uses a number of AJAX calls.  For some reason, when I use firefug to debug it there are a few GET calls that have a progress bar that never stops spinning and there are no headers or responses shown for the call in firebug, but everything else seems to be working as designed.

I have included a couple of screen shots of the firebug output.  Any idea why that might be?

check this page : http://php.net/manual/en/features.connection-handling.php

It look like your script return nothing and the connexion timeout don't occur

try the scripts proposed in the page in your script

Thanks.  Not setup to try that at the moment, but that is useful information.
