Dell R720 spec for Hyper-V with 4-8 VM's

If I plan to purchase following server and putting 3 VM as initial setup and setup might up to 8 Vm's maximum, can this server spec handle my requirements ?

Short answer: No, it doesn’t. Unless, it's for testing purposes or small VMs. What is wrong? : Not enough memory to start with.

To answer the question, you have to know what are the system requirements for each VM that you are planning to run, especially the memory requirements. The RAM cannot be shared: even if Dynamic memory is used for the VM, there is some part of it that is Static (initial memory).

Other points: I wound add H710 RAID controller (battery and write-back cache) instead of H310, second processor, additional network adapter, and additional power supply
